Melbourne’s newest Children’s Museum is finally here! Situated at “Homemaker HQ” in Nunawading, this brand spankin’ new Museum provides local families with +2,000 sq. meters of truly joyous learning experiences.
Our team of experts has filled every nook of this amazing space with a range of experiences and exhibits built on creative play-based learning foundations. With free undercover parking (plenty of space, any time, any day), lifts direct to door, parent rooms, spacious family bathrooms, and a fully climate-controlled environment throughout, a visit to the Children’s Museum has never been so breezy.
Whether you’re coming for a casual play, a party, an excursion or art classes, we’re certain that you’ll be blown away with your visit to MoPA Nunawading!
Parking
More than 300 shared on-site car parks are available at MoPA Nunawading. Whilst we do anticipate some very busy days, please rest assured that there will always be plenty of space for everyone. Our hot lil’ tip is to park undercover, because this particular area of carparking provides very direct and very safe passage to the Museum which is situated on Level 1 of the centre.
Accessibility
MoPA Nunawading is located on Level 1 at Nunawading Homemaker HQ, with terrific accessibility, lifts to and from the carpark, and brilliant on-site amenity.
You’ll find accessible car parking just meters from the lifts, generous accessible bathrooms and change rooms on site, plentiful accessible seating, and even a reading theatre fully equipped with wheelchair parking and hearing loop.
Membership
7,500+ MoPA Members now enjoy UNLIMITED access to ALL our Museums ALL year ’round! Most members visit 10+ times per year however you only need to visit 4-5 times to unlock great value. Annual Memberships are $68 for Grandparents, $82 for Adults and $118 for Children.
Birthday Parties
Bookings are now open for MoPA’s famously amazing Birthday Parties, right here at MoPA Nunawading. Packages include a variety of food options, games and activities-a-plenty, lollybags, balloons, chef-prepared platters and a team of the very BEST party hosts in town. Literally EVERYTHING you need to have the most AMAZING party ever!

This theme recognises foster carers who generously open their homes and hearts to help children and young people feel safe and connected, while creating opportunities for the future.
