MEMBERSHIP FAQS
CAN I “GIFT” A MEMBERSHIP?
Yes. In fact many of our Memberships are gifted to lucky recipients! Our website will trigger a ‘welcome email’ when you purchase the membership that you plan to gift, so please remember that if you’d like the gift to be a big surprise you should use your own email address when you buy the membership for someone else, and then we can change it (the email address) over to your recipients email later – It’s really a very easy process managed by our Guest Services Team who are available 7-days a week on 1800 00 66 72.
HOW MANY TIMES CAN A MEMBER VISIT?
There is no limit to how many times a Member can visit our Museums; we only ask that members attend just once per day – in fairness to other guests that may wish to attend on the same day as you! Some members attend weekly, others every other month. Whether you attend 50+ or just twice in the year, a MoPA Membership represents exceptional value.
CAN I SHARE A MEMBERSHIP?
No. It is not viable for MoPA to offer any kind of shared Memberships. Instead, the packages are priced very competitively, so that anyone with a membership only needs to visit a handful of times to get great value. Some members find that if a child is attending MoPA often, but their carer may be different on different days, it works better for the child to have a Membership but for the adults to purchase casual tickets each time. Lil’ piccies of our Members are associated with each membership, to ensure your membership is protected and only being used by you! If our booking system identifies sharing of membership details, it will apply a non-refundable cancellation to that membership.
IS THERE A FAMILY MEMBERSHIP?
No there isn’t. Families come in all shapes and sizes and so individual Membership packages are offered that allow you to purchase Memberships for only those in your family that will find the value; be that a child, a single parent, a grandparent, a regular carer, and so on.
HOW DO I BOOK USING MY MEMBERSHIP?
As we have ‘comfy capacity’ limits set in place for all our sessions, we request that all our Members book their visit online before arrival. This ensures you have a spot saved when you arrive at the door and don’t miss out due to private functions, excursions or sold-out sessions! When booking online, simply enter your Membership details at checkout. Your tickets will automatically be reduced to the Member price of $6 per child and $4 per adult.

Tues 7 April - Monday 1 June
Introducing Playful Pots - a joyful, hands-on activation where little makers can turn simple materials into something blooming beautiful. Children are invited to colour, decorate, and bring to life their very own paper pot, before it’s carefully shaped and secured into a sweet wrap-around pot for a cup or container.
Will it be covered in rainbows? Polka dots? A garden of wild, wiggly flowers? However they imagine it, every creation is uniquely theirs.
With plenty of room for creativity, experimentation, and a touch of crafty magic, Playful Pots is all about celebrating self-expression and the simple joy of making.
Running from Tuesday 7 April through to Monday 1 June, plenty of time to pop in, play, and make something special to take home.
