Thomastown - Term 4, 2025

DYK: It’s Foster Carers Week this week!! This year we’re celebrating with the theme ‘Open Doors. Open Hearts. Open Opportunities’. This theme recognises foster carers who generously open their homes and hearts to help children and young people feel safe and connected, while creating opportunities for the future.

At MoPA we are so so so sooooo proud of our connection with @mackillopfamilyservices and other foster services such as @meli.community. Thank you, to each and every foster carer, for all that you do!

All foster kiddos and their families enjoy free access to MoPA: it’s the very LEAST we can do to support some of the children and families in our community who need it the most.

Reading books to our children, seeing them learn to read by themselves, and then watching their passion for learning through books develop, are among the most magical moments of raising children. This week we celebrate all of this magic and more. Dress up, read with us, and MAKE YOUR VERY OWN BOOK!!! Yasssss!!!
