FAQs
How much do the big block sets cost?
MoPA is now ranging block sets that are more affordable than all international alternatives; with sets varying in price from $6,000 to $22,000.
The main variables in cost are the set size (a small set contains 60 blocks, whereas a large set contains 120), the colours and shapes you wish to include (a range of standard shapes and colours is available, however we also produce set with custom colours and even shapes) and your location (the sets are shipped from capital cities, Australia-wide, and typically require 2 to 4 pallets).
Can I use big blocks outdoors?
Absolutely, yes. The raw materials used to create our block sets are carefully selected and tested to ensure that they are lightweight and safe, but also incredibly resistant to wear, weather and cleaning. Leaving the blocks exposed to weather and UV at all times will shorten their life-span, though some of our customers have been using our block sets outdoors for many years now!
Are big blocks safe for toddlers?
Yes. Adult supervision is always recommended, however the foam used to create our blocks is soft, lightweight, non-toxic, and sized to prevent choking hazards. Most of the blocks are sized at approximately 30cm x 30cm and weigh approximately 1-2kg each.
Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes, our blue block sets are shipped all over Australia. We offer free or flat-rate shipping depending on your location and order size.

Each year we celebrate our wisest, most patient, and most awesomely unconditionally loving family members of all - our dear grandparents!! And we call this special celebration FOREVER YOUNG. (And Yes, our own folks help us name the celebration 🤣)
To celebrate these special humans, we welcome them to the Museum any time and any day, for FREE. No special codes or passwords are required — you’ll see in the checkout that adding grandparents tickets to your booking shows a $0 price. Simple as that.
At this time of year in particular, during these extended holiday breaks and the grown ups ‘return to work’ period into February, we know how many grandparents are chipping in to help juggle family life; but one great example of the integral role our grandparents can play in the family unit. We are soOoOoO proud of our partnership with MacKillop Family Services (MFS). The beautiful families from the MFS Foster Care Community all enjoy free access to our Museum’s all year around and our team have formed some really special friendships with the children and carers that frequent our network of Museums. Some of the most precious memories our team have made in 2025 have been these special interactions.
This year, some our educators also volunteered their time to support the annual gift appeal, and throughout the uber busy school holiday period we have been collecting donations to help support the huge array of foster care services provided by the MFS community.
Meeting the families from this community and hearing their stories is one of the most humbling experiences you will ever have. Just so much ❤️ packed into one small organisation.
