Meet the Mums of MoPA!

Hold onto your ❤️’s — In the lead up to Mother’s Day our team has been sharing some of their dearest family memories, and these lil’ pics are just a taste.

You might notice that all these memories are all framed up in hand-made 4x6 frames 🖼️ and that’s because… From Monday 5th May - and all the way up until Mother’s Day on Sunday 11th May - ALL the visitors at ALL of our Museums will be invited to make your OWN gorgeous 4x6 picture frame to take home. All the templates, textiles and tools you’ll need will be provided.

The hardest part is definitely going to be choosing a special memory that deserves to be framed up inside your lil’ creation :)

Right NOW is always the right time to put our adult worries away (even if it’s just for a mo!) in order to PLAY - CREATE - DANCE - LAUGH - DISCUSS - HUG - EXPLORE - with the kids. ❤️

ONE of the frames in the video above is a winning frame (you’ll know it when you see it). Every individual that takes a screengrab of that one winning frame (before the competition ends at 5pm on Thursday 17th April) will WIN a $10 off voucher to claim against a MoPA visit over the next 4 weeks.

To claim your $10 off voucher, all you need to do is post your winning screenshot to an Instagram story and tag us in - then send us an email (win@museumofplayandart.com.au) with a link to your insta profile, and when we’ve confirmed that your insta-story includes a unique screenshot we’ll then email you back your $10 off discount code.

To make sure everyone has a fair go at winning, we do just have four simple rules to follow please 🌈 ❤️

1. FULL SCREEN SHOTS ONLY: Only stories showing a full screen-shot (showing right to the edge of your screen) can be accepted
2. SHARING NOT PERMITTED: Obvs we can only provide 1 x $10 voucher for each winning screen shot submitted (all dupes disqualified)
3. PLEASE BE PATIENT: Please allow a full 24-hours for our team to validate your entry email and email you back with your prize!
4. DEADLINES: Cutoff for entering the competition by posting your screenshot in an insta story is 5pm on Thursday 17th and cutoff for emailing us to claim your prize is 5pm on Friday 18th

MoPA is open ALL day, EVERY day, for the entire holiday season (including Easter Sunday!) And just in case there was any doubt at all that Easter was going to be anything but a HOOT this year… We thought we’d share some of the fun we’ve had this week already 👯✂️❤️

HIP HOP INTO EASTER AT MoPA! From Mon 7th to Mon 21st, expect tweetworthy storytelling, the cutest hip-hopping dance parties, and of course NEW EASTER CRAFT. Errrrrday, all day, baby!!

Lurrrrve team training!! ❤️ Last night our superest-superstars led the sessions, focusing on all the small things we can do to help families enjoy the greatest potential for learning outcomes. And yeah… OK… We do always find some room to play 😛🎨🕺
