Casual Cupcake Party

Enjoy all of the Museums facilities, plus your own private party room for the ‘formalities’!

$26 per party child

The Cupcake Party package is designed to cater for smaller parties where approximately ten children are expected, but only a handful of adults.”

What’s Included:

  • Private Room: The party room is all yours for a full 90-minutes, to use at your leisure. After 90-minutes, our team require the party room to be empty for cleaning, however you and your guests are very welcome to continue playing in the Museum for another 30-minutes.

  • Entry for Children: Entry for all participating Children is included, of course (i.e. If you book for 14 children, entry for all 14 children is included).

  • Entry for Adults: For Casual Cupcake Party bookings, only 2 adult tickets for the party child’s parents are included for FREE. Any additional adults (those accompanying younger guests, or other adult family members, for example) will require their own adult ticket, available at regular adult ticket prices.

  • Cupcakes: Beautiful MoPA-themed cupcakes for the children are included (it is a cupcake party after all!).

  • Food & Drinks: A menu of assorted platters & beverages is available to order from (we will contact you to arrange an order, prior to your big day). You may bring your own nut-free birthday cake however to manage allergen, food safety and insurance requirements strictly no other food or drinks may be brought on premise.

  • Invitations: Templates for invitations are provided upon booking (please allow 24-hours for our team to send these over to you after booking)

  • Limits: There is no limit on the total number of party guests you can invite, however there is only ample room for up to 50 people in the party room at any time. Full Venue Hire is recommended for larger parties.

Note: To ensure the best-possible experience is delivered to both your guests and all the other visitors to the Museum, alternative/external entertainers such as dancers, face-painters, balloon-makers, mascots, etc, are not permitted.

Hosted Arty Party

Relax while your host guides the kids through a play, a meal and all the party formalities.

$46 per party child
$460 min. spend for ten children

What’s Included:

  • Entry for Adults: For Hosted Arty Party bookings, 2 adult tickets are included for the party-child’s parents, but an adult ticket per child is also included. For example, if you book for 14 children in total (your birthday child and 13 of their friends = 14 children in total), you will receive 15 adult tickets in total; 2 adult tickets for your party child, plus another 13 adult tickets for the 13 child guests. You may allocate adult tickets however you wish - to the parents of your little guests, other adult family members, etc - and if you require any additional adult tickets, these are readily available at regular adult ticket prices.

  • Cupcakes: Beautiful MoPA-themed cupcakes for the children are included.

  • Host: Your very own professional party host will guide the children through all activities for the duration of your party, and also ensure all your adult guests are catered to appropriately. Parties of greater than 15 children will be assigned multiple party hosts.

  • Balloons: Each child is provided their very own balloon to take home

  • Lolly-bags: MoPA’s infamous lolly-bags are also provided for each of the children to take home.

  • Birthday Gift Pack: A special MoPA Gift Pack (RRP $14) is included for the birthday child - our special gift to them! One gift pack is included for each party, however additional Birthday Gift Packs are available at 50% off, for Party guests only.

After-Hours Museum Hire

At 4.30pm on weekdays during school term, and 5.30pm on weekends and school holidays, MoPA transforms into an exclusive function venue for exclusive birthday parties, christenings, weddings, social functions and gatherings, kindergarten fundraisers, and so much more!

  • Entry for all participating Children

  • Unlimited adult tickets are included

  • A fully licensed bar service

  • The ENTIRE Museum to yourselves - fully staffed, fully activated!

  • Themed cupcakes for the children
